Free Breast Screening at Water Gardens

Water Gardens is supporting The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in hosting their Breast Screening Mobile Unit for nine months, starting 5 October 2026.

The mobile unit will be located alongside Sports Direct, offering women aged 50–70 the opportunity to access vital breast screening services. The NHS Breast Screening Programme saves around 1,300 lives every year.

Women registered with participating GP surgeries in Harlow will receive timed appointment invitations. Screening takes less than eight minutes, with results available within two to three weeks.
